Happy Labour Day. My first post after returning to the workforce. The first post of May. A post-travel one of Sydney. Wanted to share a picture of Kookaburra seen at the Wildlife Sydney Zoo :)



Happy to see Kookaburra for the first time!

And the Australian Kingfisher brought back childhood memories of The Kookaburra Song.

AFTER 17

几个小时前的昨天，有一点感慨。一个人吃晚餐时，看见了一个穿着某某JC 2011 ORIENTATION T-SHIRT的女孩，想起了17岁。

记忆中，那时不会一个人吃饭，也不会不想和某某人同桌。 是同班同学也好，课外活动的朋友也罢，喜欢的知己也好，陌生的过客也罢，吃饭时一定会有人陪伴。仿佛转个弯，兜个圈，就会遇到饭友。

现在呢，一个人吃饭的时间多了。即使有人邀，也会左思右想， 乱想一堆 - 怕没有话题啦，这样太PR了，不想应酬呀。。。

 陳綺貞的AFTER  17 顿时浮现在脑海。 17 岁后，少了简单，多了复杂。独立了，也孤立了。 勇敢了，也懦弱了。

情歌

不知道为什么，就是心血来潮，想把这几个月想BLOG的，但没有时间或灵感BLOG的，通通一次过BLOG了:) 是因为不知道下一次的冲动会是什么时候？我想，有时成事真的需要那股冲动和勇气。还有，just follow your heart!

旅行的意義 (Travel is meaningful)

I really like 旅行的意義, a song by Taiwan singer, Cheer Chen. That was one of the reasons why I first bought her CD. And I also like many songs in her latest album, 太陽, which I think is a friendlier album. I could relate to so many songs in it!

So this year on 5 April, I went to her concert in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium with my friend, SF. My first pop concert! While I admit that I am not a Cheer Fanatic (her fans were really 'on'), I had fun waving the light stick, laughing at the encores after encores after encores and just enjoying the music and the company of SF and many like-minded people around me :)

So Cheers to 30! Cheers to Cheer Chen! Cheers to 旅行的意义! Enjoy!
