Merry Christmas!

Time really flies. We have come to the last week of 2010. Everyone is talking about new year resolutions. And I decided to check the notepad in yahoomail about the resolutions I made for this year... a bit nostalgic to review them again...

And guess what? You probably guessed it right - I did not fulfill any one of them (I came close to some but somehow not close enough).

Hmmm...

In 2011, I want to try to post at least 52 pictures - 1 for every week in a year - in this blog (was inspired by a blog by my uni friends that I came across quite accidently). Think it will be possible, thanks to my BB (need to figure out how to mobile-blog though).

You will be my witness, ya? And ah, merry christmas! Do you like my gift to you? A blog makeover, so you will be all ready for all the exciting pictures that are coming your way in 2011 :)

Jaded

There's an air of restlessness around me for the last few days. Maybe I am feeling tired after the marathon. Maybe I am getting jaded. I really want to get rid of this negative energy soon and be positive again. And I know I can. Yes, I can starting from tomorrow.

Happy 2nd Marathon!

Happy to run my second half-marathon today. Not sure if I improved on my timing but I enjoyed the run better this year.

Proud that I did not use any pain relief cream at all throughout the run (last year was a more painful run - guess it's like that when it's the first time).

Interesting to run through Sentosa and RWS but the uphills were definitely challenging. But I tell myself when there is an up, there will be a down (just like that are ups and downs in life but ups in marathons are bad bad bad). I'm not sure if I will ever have the chance to run through Universal Studios and wave to Shrek in the future, so it was definitely a nice experience!

Sunny day, got sunburnt (maybe it's time to get shades for running). And yes, 100+ never tasted so good!

Workaholic Women

Women are not only shopaholics.
I think we are workaholic too!
When I left office at 8plus the other day, 9 out of 10 people at the traffic junction off Capital Tower were woman (not kidding at all)... why?
Hmmm... maybe the men are working later... maybe...

HCMC

Here'a BLOG to the business trip to HCMC (hmmm I just blogged about colleagues in love and now I'm going to talk about war). The city's USP is the war - there's so many versions about the Vietnam War. I do not know which version is true. Its really subjective. But the best (heartfelt) thing I heard is that there are no winners in this war, because so many people died of it! I think I have seen most of HCMC and will probably not be going back to HCMC on my own. Here's my version...

Office Romance

Received two wedding invitations today. And the couples are colleagues. Guess that office romances are becoming more common now - most of us spent at least one-third of our lives in the office, don't we? As one of the couples apptly put it across in their invitation - they work, they play and love just happens :) Who said that it's all about work in the office? It can be about love too, when you meet the right person at the right place at the right time...

Come to think about it, these office couples have taken work-life to a whole new dimension - congrats!

不知道为什么，就是心血来潮，想把这几个月想BLOG的，但没有时间或灵感BLOG的，通通一次过BLOG了:) 是因为不知道下一次的冲动会是什么时候？我想，有时成事真的需要那股冲动和勇气。还有，just follow your heart!

To flash or not to flash

It's been such a long time since I lasted posted pictures taken by my Golden Half! The outdoor shots are bad... and I'm thinking of getting a flash for it. Should I? :) Anyway, here's some pictures of the dept trip to Bintan!

不认老也不行啦！

昨天参加的一个活动，有好多80年代的年轻人。有一点出乎我的意料。虽然大家都说我看起来很年轻，但已步入30的我，真的不认老也不行啦！

阿里山

几年前，我游了阿里山。很喜欢那里的满天星星，壮观日出， 也很享受那里不商业不做作的经验。如果能够重游，阿里山会是一个首选。

年轻的时候以为每个愿望都会实现， 每个都市都将重游，现在才懂得许多风景只有看一次的缘分。。。妹从阿立山带回来的守信上是这么写的。读了以后很有感触， 想把我的心情记在BLOG。但一直没有抽出时间。今天终于可以了。

现在想想，不知会不会有机会重游阿里山。毕竟台湾那么大，还有很多地方想去看看， 走走。所以，我们真的要好好珍惜每一次的旅行，把它存在记忆里，因为我们可能不会有看第二次的缘分。
